FAQs

Ordering & Artwork

How do I send you my logo or design? Once you have completed your purchase, a member of our design team will contact you via email within 24 hours. We will request your artwork file and confirm any specific layout requirements before sending it to print.

What file formats do you accept? For the sharpest, high-definition result, we require a high-resolution .PNG or .PDF file. Vector files (like .AI or .EPS) are also excellent if you have them. If you are unsure about your file quality, our team can check it for you during the consultation.

How long does printing take? Because every LogoFlex Pro™ tile is custom-made to order, please allow a turnaround time of roughly 1–3 weeks, depending on our current volume of orders.

Installation & Fitment

Why do you recommend buying this tile after I install my floor? This is to ensure perfect orientation. Garage tiles have a specific "male/female" interlocking direction. By installing your main floor first, you can see exactly which way the logo needs to face to snap in correctly. This prevents your logo from being upside down or rotated 90° relative to the rest of the room.

Will this fit my existing Flexspec floor? Yes! The LogoFlex Pro™ is built on the same 400mm chassis as our garage floor tile range. It will interlock seamlessly with your existing floor - simply pop out a standard tile and snap your custom logo tile in its place.

Durability & Usage

Can I drive over the logo tile? Yes, the tile base has the same load rating as our industrial tiles. However, to keep the print looking pristine for years, we recommend placing it in "Low Turn" zones (like the centre of a parking bay or a walkway) rather than directly under where your tyres turn or twist, as abrasive friction can wear down any printed surface over time.

Discounts & Offers

How do I claim the 70% Customer Discount? If you have purchased (or are about to purchase) a minimum of 100 Flexspec tiles, you are eligible for 70% OFF your custom logo tile! Please Contact Us before you add the LogoFlex Pro™ to your cart so we can verify your order and issue your exclusive discount code.

Garage Floor Tile DIY Installation Guide

This guide is suitable for installation of the following tiles:
GridFlex Pro™, SmoothFlex Pro™, 3DFlex Pro™, DiamondFlex Pro™, VinylFlex Pro™ Flat, VinylFlex Pro™ Diamond, VinylFlex Pro™ Coin.

Step 1

Clean Your Garage
Thoroughly sweep the garage floor to clear away dust and small debris.

Step 2

Lay Your First Tile
Position the first tile at the front left corner or front right corner of the garage entrance, with the pegged "male" sides facing the wall and the garage door.

Step 3

Start Laying Rows
Place the next tile in the same orientation as the first, aligning the pegged side of the new tile with the looped side of the previous one. Press them together by hand or with a rubber mallet. Continue adding tiles in this manner until the first row is complete.

Step 4

Attach Ramp Edges
Once you've completed the first row, attach the ramp pieces to the tiles closest to the garage door by lifting the tiles and snapping the ramps into place. Close the garage door and adjust the rows.

Step 5

Ensure Your Tiles Are Evenly Aligned
If your design features a pattern that needs to be centred, or if you want to avoid cutting tiles at the edges, adjust the rows so that there is an equal gap between the outermost tiles and the walls on both sides.

Step 6

Proceed with Laying Tiles
Continue laying tiles in the same direction until you reach the back and opposite walls. Pause at the final rows, as you may need to cut them for a precise fit.

Step 7

Cut and Fit Remaining Tiles
For a precise fit, use a jigsaw with a fine-toothed blade to cut the remaining tiles to size. Be sure to maintain a 5mm expansion gap between the wall and the tile. Measure and mark the tiles before cutting, then securely snap them into place.

Step 8

Relax and Enjoy Your New Floor!
After laying all the tiles, give your floor a quick clean to remove any installation dust. Your floor is now ready to use!

Tiles Sold Nationwide

IMPORTANT: Many consumers are unaware that there are similar garage tiles/copies being sold at premium prices are actually inexpensive, low-quality tiles. These tiles are often marketed to look like high-end options but may lack the durability, resistance, and quality control of genuine brands. Since they mimic the appearance of reputable products, buyers can easily mistake them for top-tier options, especially when faced with claims about “premium materials”.

Without clear knowledge of the differences, consumers can end up investing in lower quality – overpriced tiles.

Features	GridFlex Pro™	vs Competitors
Material Quality	✅ High-impact polypropylene; UV-stabilised, durable, and chemical-resistant	❌ Varies; often lower-grade or recycled polypropylene, may lack UV protection
Load-Bearing Capacity	✅ Very high; supports heavy vehicles, machinery, and equipment	❌ Typically lower; may crack or warp under heavy weight
Drainage and Ventilation	✅ Excellent drainage with ribbed, open design; prevents pooling and mould	❌ Basic drainage; may pool water or trap dirt due to inconsistent design
Installation	✅ Easy DIY snap-together system with a precise interlocking fit	❌ Snap-together system but may lack stability; prone to shifting
Colour and Design Options	✅ Extensive colours, patterns, custom logos, and branding available	❌ Limited colours, basic patterns, and usually no customisation options
UV Resistance	✅ UV-stabilised to help prevent fading and cracking from sunlight exposure	❌ May lack UV protection; prone to fading in outdoor or sunny garages
Chemical Resistance	✅ Highly resistant to automotive chemicals, oils, and solvents	❌ Varies widely; some tiles stain or degrade when exposed to chemicals
Durability	✅ Designed for long-term use, even in high-traffic, heavy-duty environments	❌ Often suited for light-duty use; may wear out or need replacement sooner
Temperature Tolerance	✅ Performs well in various temperatures but may expand slightly in extremes	❌ May warp or crack in extreme hot or cold conditions
Maintenance	✅ Low maintenance; tiles are modular, easy to replace, and durable	❌ Higher maintenance; may require frequent adjustments or replacements
Scratch Resistance	✅ Highly resistant; withstands scratches from tools, equipment, and vehicles	❌ Varies; some tiles scratch easily or show visible wear from heavy items
Resistance to Staining	✅ Excellent; resistant to common stains from oil, grease, and chemicals	❌ Generally lower resistance; may stain permanently with certain chemicals
Odour Resistance	✅ Odour-free; no strong plastic smell	❌ Some products may have a plastic odour, especially initially
Antimicrobial Properties	✅ Resistant to mould, mildew, and bacterial growth	❌ Varies; often lacks antimicrobial additives
Availability of Accessories	✅ Wide range of compatible accessories, including edges, ramps, and logos	❌ Limited or no accessories available, often only basic tile sets
Weight Per Tile	✅ Heavier tiles; adds to stability and durability	❌ Often lighter, which can make tiles less stable

How To Spot The Differences

GridFlex Pro™ Tiles vs. Competitors: Comparison images below.

GridFlex Pro™ tiles have thicker clips

vs Competitors (thin clips – prone to break over time)

GridFlex Pro™ tiles use a newer mould with no injection points

vs Competitors (cheaper mould – four of these markings on the top of their tile)

GridFlex Pro™ colours appear richer and fuller

vs Competitors (less boldness to their colours – tend to look overly shiny in pictures)

GridFlex Pro™ tiles weigh more and consistently weigh the same

vs Competitors (inconsistent or low weight – an indicator of random filler materials)

GridFlex Pro™ tiles have more supporting pins

vs Competitors (less pins – can cause stability issues)

If you’ve purchased garage tiles in the past, we recommend checking them with the images and features listed above. Sellers who cut corners on these features are likely to compromise on other components as well.

Avoid Misleading Marketing Practices

Similar Aesthetics: Cheap tiles can closely resemble high-quality options in appearance, leading buyers to assume they are making a wise investment. They may be sold with enticing labels like “high quality” or “commercial quality,” which sound impressive but do not guarantee long-term durability or performance.
Limited Consumer Knowledge: Many buyers are not well-versed in the specifics of tile materials, specifications, or performance characteristics. This knowledge gap allows sellers to exploit consumer trust, making it difficult for buyers to discern quality differences without thorough research.
Overemphasis on Pricing: Some consumers mistakenly equate price with quality, believing that a higher price tag always indicates superior performance. This perception can lead to overpaying for lower-quality tiles.

Being informed about product specifications, understanding warranty details, and purchasing from Flexspec Authorised Dealers and/or other reputable brands ,like Swisstrax or RaceDeck, can help buyers avoid overpaying for tiles that might not perform as advertised.

If you have any concerns, we strongly suggest purchasing a Flexspec Sample Pack and obtaining samples from other various suppliers to compare the quality for yourself.

Remember, if you have any specific questions about Flexspec flooring or its applications, feel free to ask! You can message us on livechat, email us, or call us on 1300 328 003
